Indian mustard (Brassica juncea L. Czern. & Coss) is a natural amphidiploid which the greatest pre-dominating crop of oilseed Brassica group. A study was undertaken to estimate genetic variability, correlation and path coefficient analysis yield its contributing traits in 75 genotypes grown Randomized Block Design with two replications. The variance highly significant for all characters investigated. All thirteen were showed higher values phenotypic coefficients variation than genotypic variation. heritability broad sense estimated characters. High value indicates that it may be due contribution components. coupled high advance as percent means recorded days 50% flowering, plant height (cm), number(s) secondary branches per plant, length main raceme siliquae seed (g), plot harvest index biological indicated predominance additive gene action inheritance these traits. direct positive correlations yield, numbers primary branches, on documented.
